Plot:

Based on the real life entertainer Selena, she was a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, spokesperson, model, actress, and fashion designer. She was one of the most celebrated Latin artists of all time, bringing the Tejano music genre into the mainstream. She was shot and killed by her friend and former manager at just 23 years old.
