Plot:
This follows the Medici dynasty, set in 15th century Florence, starring Dustin Hoffman as Giovanni di Bicci de' Medici. Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) stars as protagonist Cosmo the Elder, who was elected as the head of the Florentine republic and later mysteriously poisoned.
Sean Bean joins the cast in season 2 as Jacopo Pazzi.
