American Factory goes inside of the facility to observe what happens when workers from profoundly different cultures collide.

The business grew out of a temporary gig distributing magazines for publisher Larry Flynt after their medical device company failed. The doc explores the inherent contradictions with her parents never discussing sex, but their business put her through college.
The documentary will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

In 2004, 16-year-old Cyntoia Denise Brown was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee, for murdering a 43-year-old man who picked her up for sex. She was tried as an adult and sentenced to life in prison. In 2019, after nearly ten years of legal challenges, Governor Bill Haslam granted her request for clemency. Cyntoia is scheduled to leave prison in August 2019, 45 years early.
