Verdict
The draw is giant monsters fighting. Those scenes almost make the rest of the movie worth it. The monster fights provide the fun, and the size of characters on the screen is proportional to the fun factor. Whenever we get scenes with humans, it's when the movie is trying to force a story which has very little foundation. The science this movie attempts to employ is always highly questionable. This movie should have stuck to the wackiness that is monsters wreaking havoc. Whenever it deviates from that I became bored. The best version of this movie would be a supercut of the monster fights.
It depends.

Review
The fourth entry in the Monsterverse franchise that includes Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

This contains a lot of characters and related subplots that matter very little. Very early in the movie a scientist talks about the ancient rivalry between Godzilla and Kong which is a blunt way to set up the monster battles. Upon what knowledge is that rivalry based? The sciences is flimsier than a wet sheet of paper. Logic gaps plague this movie whenever explanations are attempted. The entire hollow Earth idea is just silly, and I don't know why the movie wastes time on it.

Thankfully the movie wastes very little time in showing us the monsters. The first encounter between Godzilla and Kong offers all the fun for which I was hoping. That's why I'm watching the movie, and the first fight ensures I'll watch more.

Millie Bobby Brown plays Madison.

The human characters are used to get the run time to two hours and provide frequent bathroom breaks. Millie Bobby Brown's character is nearly irrelevant. I assume she must of signed a contract for two movies and had to be included in this one.

This is a silly movie, but it manages to entertain despite the bloat that are the human characters and plot.
