Plot
A CIA operative and his translator flee from special forces in Afghanistan after exposing a covert mission.
Verdict
It's a generic action move, and yet it manages to make gunfire boring. This is the kind of movie where you zone out and are then surprised it's still going. Why haven't they been caught or escaped yet? Nothing in this movie feels important, and I never cared what happened.
Skip it.
Review
Tom (Gerard Butler) freelances for the CIA. He on an operation in Iran, installing malware to blow up a hidden nuclear facility. The mission is successful and he gets another. He's not directly employed by the CIA, and he can't refuse this mission otherwise we may not have a plot to this movie.

Gerard Butler plays Tom Harris |
His name and picture are leaked as being responsible for the explosion. How does that happen? There are multiple layers between him, the CIA, and even the mission. It's a plot contrivance.
Multiple entities send people after Tom. I thought he'd be better at hiding. Either way he's in hostile territory with people after him. He also has to protect his translator. It's a run of the mill action movie, but it's also so uninteresting. Tom and his translator Mo must get away. At first they're in car and of course they end up on foot before they're captured. There are more details but it doesn't really matter. Towards the end Tom throws down with this awesome assassin that's been tracking them. It's entertaining but much too short of a scene.
