After escaping the Citadel, Mad Max becomes a key part in Furiosa's betrayal of the overlord Immorten Joe.
Review:
The hype surrounding this movie propelled me to go to the theater. Is this an action movie game changer? Yes, the movie is incredible. The two hour run time flies by. It avoids the pitfalls, mistakes, and cliches of many other action movies. Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy do a great job in understated performances. It's Theron's character Furiosa's story more than it it Mad Max's. Production design is top notch. All of the vehicles look superb, as does the cinematography. The story is solid and sensical. I immediately wanted to watch it again, and that doesn't happen often.Simply incredible.

Plot:
Sean Connery, a police marshal for the mining colony on the Jupiter moon Io, uncovers a drug conspiracy, putting himself at odds with everyone else.
Review:
Shotguns in space can never go wrong. It's dirty, grimy, everything a western should be, but set in space. Connery plays a character at odds with everyone else. He doesn't stop until the job is done and the drug conspiracy eradicated. While decompression does not equal bodily explosion, there is a good fight scene. It's worth seeing. So many space movies are utopia. It's refreshing that this one isn't.

Plot:
Four undocumented high school students in Arizona form a robotics club, competing against top colleges on a shoe string budget.
Review:
It's an inspirational tale. While a bit heavy handed with many cliches, it is touching and gets better as it continues. Characters are developed throughout with many experiencing a winning moment in the end. It feels like a Disney movie, trying to be cute, lighthearted, and heart felt. Funny enough, nerds have a traditional look in film and the majority of the robotics club members at the competition fit the look with thick rimmed glasses. You will have a lot of fun rooting for the under dogs.

Kevin Costner is the general manager for the Cleveland Browns. Can he make his team a contender with just the seventh pick on draft day?
Review:
The movie is forced at times with unrealistic characters. It does make front office sports engaging. It works out a bit too perfect, but that's the kind of movie it was going to be.Costner gives us someone to root for as everyone around him second guesses his motives and decisions. Through wheeling and dealing Costner's character makes the moves his team needs. Who would have thought a movie could make the NFL draft exciting.
