Plot:
Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow try to stop Ultron, who is bent on eradicating the Earth of humans.
Review:
If you like big budget, heavy CGI, super hero action movies, this is it. The actors really own these characters and they have great chemistry. The villain's motivations were lacking. It seems petty that an AI would only be concerned with creating a body and eradicating humans. With access to everything, he just wants a new body. Why can't the AI evolution be purely digital? The amount of carnage and destruction left in the wake of the Avengers is excessive. I appreciate that it was acknowledged with Tony Stark asking if Stark Industries had started rebuilding, but the cons seem to outweigh the benefits. Throughout the movie Tony Stark was the deus ex machina, characterized by the scene where a super iron man suit is deployed from a space satellite for a particularly brutal battle.

Plot:
Jim Bennett is a gambling addict that manages to dig himself into a sizable debt, annoy many people while never losing his obnoxious attitude, and right all of his wrongs in the end while getting the girl.
Review:
I wonder how many times Wahlberg has been mistaken for a professor. It's not entirely his fault, the script assumes college professors pontificate and whine instead of teaching. You assume Wahlberg has a plan but it isn't compelling, not like Ocean's Eleven. Wahlberg and the script would have benefited from an ensemble cast and more research. This movie had a chance to immerse us in the world of gambling but never digs below the surface. Character development lacked. The movie tries to create a relationship between the professor and student but it falls flat. The scene where he ties up all loose ends is entertaining, but wasn't worth the one and a half hour lead in. A main character running down a sidewalk to get the girl in the end should be removed from any movie.
Skip it.

Plot:
All around terrible person and former baseball great Ty Cobb hires a writer to pen a fluff biography.
Review:
I knew going in Cobb had no issue taking out opponents on the field and had beaten up fans in the stands, Despite that, this movie still feels like a caricature. That and it's a baseball movie without the baseball. I'm not sure either actor is a good fit. Tommy Lee Jones has fun chewing the scenery and Robert Wuhl seems like he should be in a comedy. The movie takes too long to get started. The flashback scene half way in compels us to wonder if Ty Cobb might feel guilt and the relationship between Jones and Wuhl doesn't develop until the last half. In both cases it's too little too late. This movie should have been a character study instead of a superficial retelling.
Skip it.
