Plot:
Dave and Andrew lead lives heading nowhere. At the brink of losing their home and going to jail, they manage to create a void, nothingness.
Review:
The single reason I wanted to see this is that it's from the creator of the film The Cube. Unfortunately none of the other director's work has lived up to The Cube. This is incredibly strange, and strangely philosophical. Everyone has wished to get away from it all. Dave and Andrew manage to do just that. They live in a self-created void. They hate away the outside world, their worries and woes. This extends to memories and possessions. In the end, only when you have nothing, can you be happy with anything. The movie is an experience you need to have, just so you can ask yourself what did I just watch.

After his wife is murdered, Danny Parker finds himself in the world of addicts and dealers. Can he escape the dealers and narcs?
Review:
Great imagery throughout. Val Kilmer does a surprising job. Great characters support the solid pacing. It does a great job of keeping you engrossed the entire time with more than a few twists as it steadily ramps up. It's a great concept with an amazing execution and cinematography.
Watch it.

Plot:
Wealthy brothers make a bet concerning nurture or nature, switching the roles of a stockbroker and a street hustler.
Review:
An age old tale that takes a while to get going. Eddie Murphy does a great job, as does Dan Ackroyd It's isn't bad. Even though it's well executed, it does feel dated. The story feels cliche, but is helped by good framing and a good resolution.

Review:
There is a lot of filler to set the stage, but if you can get past the facade, it has more than a few poignant moments. Is it real or fake is the big question. It seems fake or at least dramatized.
