Plot
As a lethal virus spreads globally four friends seek a reputed plague-free haven, but while avoiding the infected the travelers turn on one another.

Verdict
Better than I expected. The post-apocalypse genre is full enough, and this doesn't do enough to stand out. The best thing it does is put you in the mind of the characters, causing you to ponder what you would do in that situation, but other movies have done that many times over.
Skip it.

Review
This was filmed in 2006, but it wasn't released until 2009 after Chris Pine starred in Star Trek.
Piper Perabo and Chris Pine play Bobby and Brian.
After a virus has wiped out most of civilization a group of teens is headed to what they hope is a safe space. It's rather tragic as they're just hoping for a safe space with no idea as to where they are headed.

This is much better than I expected. It gets the emotion and realism of the situation. Because of that you begin to wonder how you would react or what you would do.

This feels a lot like The Road, just a lot more hopeful and this is a world where most of the world is dead and the rest are dying. In this world, it's wish fulfillment. Everyone has the liberty to do whatever they want. The group crashes at a fancy hotel and smashes windows. They run into a group of guys that want to kidnap the girls. Society's rules no longer apply. Only the strong survive. In a world like this it becomes primal. Eventually the only person you watch out for is yourself. Everyone else becomes expendable.
