Plot
Five friends with big egos and small brains are the proprietors of an Irish pub in Philadelphia.
Verdict
It's a shorter season, though seasons have been getting shorter. This show revels in the absurd from situations to how characters react. This season has more than a few solid episodes and references to previous seasons. I wish there were more episodes, but this has most of the antics you'd expect ranging from silly to ridiculous though most of the episodes happen outside of the bar.
Watch It.
Review
Always Sunny has always featured self centered characters preoccupied with their next scheme. The show is ridiculous. These people are terrible, and most of the time they're putting everyone else in harm for self benefit. Their stupidity is astounding, their narcissism is appalling, and that's what makes this funny.
This starts with Dennis (Glenn Howerton) and Mac (Rob McElhenney) trying to fight inflation by selling inflatable furniture.

In episode four Frank (Danny DeVito) ends up facing a Russian chess player in a ruse that goes bad quickly. It's a memorable episode for how far it goes. Dennis provides sociopathic and manipulative dating advice for Dee (Kaitlin Olson) and Mac.
There's a cameo appearance in episode five that is absolutely hilarious, using the guest stars expertly as the gang does their usual thing.
The final episode is a departure, focusing on just one character in the vein of Falling Down.
It's a solid season of the show though it feels too short. This show has always been about going beyond the absurd, and this season is no different.
