Plot
Comedian and entertainer Jen Kirkman brings her comedic stylings to Netflix. She has appeared on several television shows.

Verdict
The special has a conversational style as she recounts stories from her life, expertly picking out the absurdity and humor in them. It feels like less of a stand up and more just chatting with someone who's very funny.Watch it.

Review
Jen Kirkman stars with a solid opener on meditation. She acknowledges the absurdity of it and how being at peace in the world irritates everyone else. It doesn't help her remain any less confrontational, especially in traffic. If another motorist insults her driving abilities as a woman, watch out.

The title of the special, Just Keep Living is derived from the tattoo on her ankle, JKL. It's based on something Matthew McConaughey said in the face of a personal setback. You have to just keep living. Kirkman fully realizes the irony of a personal motivational tattoo based on something an actor said.

This is partially observational, but mainly stories about or related to her life. She recounts a doctor visit where she was concerned she could die of internal bleeding. The doctor revealed, that if you can see the blood, it's not internal. It's a period related story that transitions to men catcalling women. It serves to close out the set. Compliment women's clothes, not their bodies.
